Chorus secures institutional investment to accelerate growth

Specialist investor in small and medium sized companies, Amati Global Investors, joins Chorus shareholder list

Chorus Intelligence Ltd, the leading provider of digital intelligence and crime analysis software, has received an investment of £3m from Amati Global Investors (“Amati”), to accelerate product development and support its expanding global user base.

The investment from Amati will be used to fuel the development of the Chorus Intelligence Suite (CIS), an integrated set of applications that equips data experts with the tools to manage every stage of a digital investigation. The additional funds will also be used to support the company’s growth throughout North America, in particular its sales and marketing network.

Boyd Mulvey, CEO Chorus Intelligence said: “The new functionality of our wider Chorus Intelligence Suite (“CIS”) continues to strengthen the appeal of our offerings to both existing and new customers globally. The Amati investment is further validation of Chorus’s leadership in the digital investigation arena and will allow us to further accelerate the growth of the business which has been growing at an average of circa 50% year on year for the past several years.  We are delighted to welcome Amati to the Chorus team”.

Paul Jourdan, CEO, Amati Global Investors said: “We had been getting to know Chorus Intelligence for almost a year prior to this investment and we have been consistently struck by the company’s determination to make a real impact in providing software products which can strengthen the effectiveness of data preparation and analysis amongst police forces, enabling higher rates of solving crimes and improved efficiency.  We were particularly impressed with feedback from customers and partners over the responsiveness that Chorus brings to bear in their ongoing product development.  We look forward to being involved with Chorus in their next phase of growth.”
