Three SMSC File Issue

We have received some guidance from Three highlighting a potential issue with the raw data they are providing.  This affects the SMSC file provided by Three and specifically is around SMS texts routed through their Maya Network between 29/03/2020 to 23/09/2020.  Three did fix this issue on 15/10/2020.

Any SMSC file obtained from Three before the 15/10/2020 covering 29/03/2020 to 23/09/2020 needs to be reviewed as the timings for an SMS contained within this file may be in Universal Coordinated Time (UTC) time and not British Summer Time (BST).  They could be an hour out.

Any SMSC file obtained from Three after 15/10/2020 covering 29/03/2020 to 23/09/2020 Three confirm the timings will be correct and be in BST.

Chorus Analyse and Investigate will process the Date and Time as it is shown in the raw data when it is shown in UTC time or in BST.
