New partnership delivers real-time data into intelligence and analysis tools to help law enforcement solve crime faster and protect the public.
Chorus Intelligence, the digital intelligence and investigation software provider, and Simunix, the investigative data technology company, today announced a new partnership designed to enrich digital investigations.
An agreement between the two companies has created a bespoke method within the application programming interface (API) that allows Chorus’ analytical products real-time access to Simunix’s ORBIS Network consented dataset. The integration helps those conducting investigations to generate lines of enquiry, answer questions and attribute phone numbers, devices, and other entities to individuals.
ORBIS Network Data
ORBIS Network combines numerous up-to-date data sources on UK individuals, businesses and households. Unique advanced linking within the data allows a powerful single view of an individual, including historic and current information of any address co-habitants and company co-director details. This provides Police forces and other law enforcement agencies with invaluable insight to aid their digital investigations.
As the industry calls for more interoperability between technology providers, Chorus’ new technology, Chorus Search, acts as the ‘plumbing’ to link up intelligence datasets like ORBIS Network with analytical tools. Chorus Search links ORBIS Network to other analytical products including IBM i2 Analyst’s Notebook, instantly enriching the data for further interrogation. It also allows for existing investments in intelligence systems to be leveraged delivering greater value for money.
