Federated Search & Enrichment
The CIS features an entity search and enrichment tool, to fast-track the attribution process. Key capabilities include:
- Supercharged OSINT – The CIS integrates with an OSINT tool, to enable users to bulk search an entity across hundreds of social media networks at once.
- Smart Search – Integrate into and query consented third-party databases plus internal systems and files, including NicheRMS365 and Axon Records.
- Evidence Enrichment – Perform an advanced search on entities of interest, direct from the CIS, to interrogate further.
Data Cleansing & Analysis
The CIS incorporates our award-winning data cleansing & analysis engine. Key capabilities include:
- Ingest & Cleanse – Drag and drop any digital data, including Call Data Records (CDRs), LPR and cell phone extracts to be automatically cleansed and formatted, saving 97% of your time.
- Visualize, Enrich & Expand – Bring the data of your investigation to life through advanced visualization. Overlay key data sets onto interactive maps and create a master timeline of events.
- Intelligent Reporting – Run reports to drill down into key data sets. These include a suspect’s most visited locations, top contacts, hotspots, and sleep/wake analysis.
Case Management & Sharing
The CIS houses a secure digital repository to store, search and share all your investigative data in one place. Key capabilities include:
- Create & Collaborate – Create, view, collaborate on and share cases with colleagues, partners, and external organizations. Apply access and security controls.
- Cross-Case Analysis – Perform a cross-case bulk search on data held in all operational and closed cases, to determine if an entity has appeared before.
- Audit Assured – Audit logs can be maintained on a per user basis to document when searches, web captures, URLs visited, and activities are completed.
Secure Open-Source Capture
Instantly capture open-source intelligence, direct from the CIS. Key capabilities include:
- Protect your anonymity – Remain anonymous while conducting open-source research via a fully IP-obfuscated environment.
- Capture evidence instantly – Capture whole (or snippets) of webpages, images, and videos.
- Redact, store report– Automatically redact names, numbers, or any keyword from your captured evidence. Choose what to include for your custom, courtroom-ready report.
Internal Data Integration
The CIS has a secure upload portal to ingest, index and make searchable disparate digital data files. Key capabilities include:
- Make your Structured and Unstructured Data Searchable – Uploads can include device downloads, spreadsheets, word documents, USB drives and image-based PDFs that are searchable via OCR.
- Spot Connections, in Collections – Upload collections of legacy data from past operations, to be made searchable against data held in your current operations.
- Custom integrations supported – The CIS negates the need for users to log in to and search multiple databases to obtain data. Integrate with an existing Record Management System (RMS), such as NicheRMS365 and Axon Records, or any other database, via an API.
Evidential Reporting
Overlay key digital data and report on it in multiple ways. Choose what to include in your courtroom-ready report, generated direct from the CIS. Key capabilities include:
- Overlay, Enrich & Expand – Generate interactive timelines, maps, pivot tables, heat charts and matrices to interpret your data and aid interrogation.
- Intelligent reporting – Run reports to drill down into key data sets, such as a suspect’s most visited locations, top contacts, hotspots, and sleep/wake analysis.
- Courtroom-ready – Create custom, evidential reports, direct from the CIS. All can be redacted and consolidated with disclosure reports with an audit log.
