Last week, Chorus attended the FBINAA National Training conference in Orlando, Florida. After over a year of restrictions and home-based working, it was great to finally meet our peers at an in-person event for networking and collaboration.
For the first time at this event, attendees got to see the Chorus Intelligence suite (CIS) in action. Made up of modular applications, the Intelligence Suite equips anyone involved in digital investigations with the tools to self-serve and confidently collect, develop and disseminate data, from one place.
Our representatives Ed Hartnett, Frank Rodgers, Al Kassam and John Marley did a great job of demo’ing the suite and advising law enforcement on its capabilities to truly transform policing and digital investigations.
We hope those in attendance got the chance to visit John Marley’s, theater session: Supercharged digital investigations: Search any data, anywhere. In this session, John presented a live demonstration of Chorus Search, an intelligence tool that can seamlessly connect to, search, and capture internal or online data sources (including social media), to uncover links between people, objects, locations, and events.
Attendees learnt how to:
- Connect to available intelligence sources to comprehensively query data and obtain a full intelligence picture
- Capture content using an advanced browser extension – Capture web pages and social media posts as searchable PDFs
- Visualize the relationships among data – Merge and expand your data sets to visualize connections, reveal patterns and answer key questions
- Generate court-room ready reports – Build case files, generate evidential reports and share with colleagues from a central location.
