Built for the Mission. Focused on the Impact. Introducing Our New CRO, Marque Teegardin

As Chorus Intelligence accelerates its growth across North America and beyond, the company has welcomed a seasoned revenue leader to help guide the next chapter. With decades of experience building and scaling go-to-market teams in the public safety and investigative technology space, Marque Teegardin steps into the role of Chief Revenue Officer with a clear mission: amplify Chorus’ impact for the agencies that rely on it every day.

A Career Designing Go-To-Market Strategies.

Marque has spent his career focused on successfully building and implementing go-to-market strategies and teams within the tech industry. Most recently, he led the Americas business for Cellebrite, partnering with state, local, and federal law enforcement agencies to deliver digital intelligence capabilities at scale.

That experience shaped both his perspective and his priorities.

“I’ve spent my career building high-performing go-to-market teams in the software market,” he explains. “Continuing that journey with Chorus was a no-brainer. Offering what I believe is the market’s best intelligence and investigative cloud platform was an immediate attraction.”

For Marque, Chorus isn’t just another tech company — it’s a purpose-driven organization solving real problems for investigators working under pressure every day.

Leading Revenue with Purpose

As CRO, Marque’s role goes far beyond hitting revenue targets. His day-to-day focus centers on strengthening the foundation that supports sustainable growth: people, positioning, and customer trust.

His immediate priorities include:

  • Positioning Chorus as the trusted expert in an increasingly crowded investigative tech market
  • Building and aligning a world-class go-to-market team across Sales, Marketing, Government Affairs, and Operations
  • Spending meaningful time with customers to deeply understand their operational challenges
  • Ensuring every function supports the broader mission of helping agencies solve cases faster and safer

“Day to day, I’m focused on supporting the team, meeting customers, and rigorously supporting the mission,” he says.

Standing Out in a Noisy Market

One challenge Marque is particularly energized by is differentiation.

With more vendors entering the investigative and intelligence space, agencies are often overwhelmed by choice. Marque believes Chorus has a responsibility to lead with clarity and education.

“The biggest challenge is separating Chorus from the competitive pack by educating the market on how we can better assist in mitigating investigative challenges,” he says. “We will achieve this by demonstrating that Chorus knows more, does more, and cares more about solving these critical barriers to justice.”

It’s a philosophy grounded not just in product strength, but in partnership.

Raising the Bar for Customers

As Chorus continues to expand, customers can expect more than just new features or capabilities. Marque sees the company’s role as both a technology provider and a strategic advisor.

“Based on our experience and knowledge of their investigative challenges, we’ll continually challenge our customers to address risks and the consequences of inaction to the communities they serve,” he says.

A Leadership Style Built on Trust

When asked what lesson most shaped his leadership, Marque doesn’t point to strategy or process. He points to trust.

“Competing in a market like this is not for everyone. High expectations, tremendous pressure, and a responsibility to do any and everything possible to support our brave customers,” he says. “A primary lesson I’ve learned from my mentors is to build trust and credibility in every relationship I’m a part of. Today it serves as the foundation of my leadership playbook.”

It’s a mindset that resonates strongly in public safety, where reliability and integrity matter as much as results.

Beyond the Office

Outside of work, Marque has a passion that might surprise some colleagues: rock ’n’ roll.

From early blues and country to the British Invasion, Motown, and indie bands carving their own paths, music fuels his spirit.

“I go to many live shows every year,” he says. “It brings me great joy to see my favorite bands across the U.S. and abroad at some amazing venues.”

It’s a fitting contrast — the same energy and authenticity he values in music shows up in how he leads: real, grounded, and driven by passion.
